Voici pourquoi."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, les \u00e9tudes fleurissent qui montrent qu\u2019int\u00e9grer davantage de femmes dans les \u00e9quipes est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique \u00e0 la performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, une \u00e9tude n\u00e9erlandaise<sup>1<\/sup> et une \u00e9tude espagnole<sup>7<\/sup> ont montr\u00e9 que les organisations dont l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe dirigeante comporte des femmes ont une meilleure performance financi\u00e8re que les autres. Cet impact positif semble \u00eatre plus grand dans les entreprises d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s performantes, comparativement \u00e0 celles qui le sont peu<sup>8<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Descendons au niveau de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de travail, le niveau qui va nous int\u00e9resser dans cet article. Une \u00e9tude \u00e9tats-unienne a mis en avant que les femmes ont un impact positif sur leurs coll\u00e8gues et par-l\u00e0 sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de toute l\u2019\u00e9quipe de travail<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je vous propose d&rsquo;aller plus loin et de nous int\u00e9resser aux m\u00e9canismes avanc\u00e9s par les chercheur.se.s pour expliquer le r\u00f4le positif de la mixit\u00e9. Voyons comment les femmes contribuent \u00e0 la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8me et \u00e0 la performance de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Du partage de connaissances \u00e0 la collaboration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u2019il est un apport essentiel des femmes au travail, c\u2019est en mati\u00e8re de coop\u00e9ration. En effet, la pr\u00e9sence de femmes dans un groupe incite \u00e0 une collaboration accrue entre ses membres. Cette diversit\u00e9 de genre am\u00e9liore les \u00e9changes d\u2019informations, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant ainsi \u00e0 la performance globale de l\u2019\u00e9quipe, comme le montre une revue de litt\u00e9rature de Julia Bear et ses coll\u00e8gues<sup>3<\/sup>. Entre autres, les \u00e9quipes incorporant des femmes voient une r\u00e9partition plus \u00e9quitable des temps de parole au sein du groupe et la mise en avant de normes de travail plus coop\u00e9ratives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les auteures proposent d&rsquo;expliquer cette am\u00e9lioration par la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des styles interpersonnels des \u00e9quipes mixtes. Les femmes ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un style plus d\u00e9mocratique que les hommes qui, au contraire, sont souvent plus autocratiques<sup>9<\/sup> (pr\u00e9cisons que ces styles ne sont pas dus \u00e0 des diff\u00e9rences intrins\u00e8ques entre les sexes, mais plut\u00f4t \u00e0 des normes sociales dans l&rsquo;influence lesquelles nous grandissons tou.te.s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainsi, cette plus grande collaboration au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe contribue \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence d\u2019une intelligence collective qui sert la performance. Lorsqu\u2019aucun sexe n\u2019est minoritaire dans le groupe, l\u2019\u00e9change d\u2019informations en son sein s\u2019accroit. Cette \u00ab&nbsp;dynamisation&nbsp;\u00bb des \u00e9changes favorise la qualit\u00e9 de la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8me et permet l\u2019apparition d\u2019une plus grande cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9<sup>4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prise de risque et b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de la mixit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un autre point sur la pr\u00e9sence des femmes au travail concerne la prise de d\u00e9cisions. En effet, les cheffes d\u2019entreprise ont moins tendance que leurs homologues masculins \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions risqu\u00e9es et semblent moins tent\u00e9es par une attitude de comp\u00e9tition, selon une \u00e9tude d&rsquo;Alexa Perryman et ses coll\u00e8gues<sup>6<\/sup>. Ce comportement peut avoir un impact tant n\u00e9gatif que positif sur la performance de l\u2019entreprise. Mais il d\u00e9veloppe tout son potentiel dans les \u00e9quipes mixtes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de Jose Apesteguia et de ses coll\u00e8gues<sup>5<\/sup> montrent que les \u00e9quipes compos\u00e9es exclusivement de femmes seraient plus conservatrices, ce qui se manifeste par une moindre d\u00e9pense dans le secteur R&amp;D. Les auteur.e.s ajoutent qu\u2019elles seraient \u00e9galement moins agressives quant \u00e0 la politique de prix, ce qui peut aboutir \u00e0 une moindre efficacit\u00e9 concernant la gestion de la marque. Cette m\u00eame \u00e9tude met tout de m\u00eame en avant que ces \u00e9quipes exclusivement f\u00e9minines manifestent une plus grande propension aux politiques de RSE<sup>5<\/sup> que les autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, on ne s&rsquo;attend pas \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe purement masculine montre une performance hors-normes ! Au contraire, c&rsquo;est bien par la mixit\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe peut devenir plus efficace. Dans les \u00e9quipes mixtes, le comportement plus s\u00e9cure des femmes est favorable \u00e0 la performance des entreprises. Notamment, concernant les \u00e9quipes de direction, la diversit\u00e9 de genre am\u00e8ne une meilleure rentabilit\u00e9<sup>6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>De mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, il semble bien que les \u00e9quipes mixtes soient plus performantes que celles unisexes. Embaucher des femmes autant que des hommes d\u00e9passe donc le seul besoin moral. Ceci atteint un r\u00e9el int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la performance des \u00e9quipes de travail et \u00e0 terme celle de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pr\u00e9cisons que certaines \u00e9tudes montrent que ce b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de la diversit\u00e9 n\u2019appara\u00eet que si le nombre de femmes dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe de travail est suffisamment \u00e9lev\u00e9. Dans le cas contraire c\u2019est m\u00eame une baisse de performance qui appara\u00eet&nbsp;! En effet, il existerait un stade critique \u00e0 partir duquel la diversit\u00e9 est favorable.
