Quoiqu\u2019il en soit, il fait d\u00e9bat&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, est-il une aubaine et une solution d\u2019avenir ou une fausse-bonne id\u00e9e \u00e0 fuir absolument&nbsp;? Pour vous aider \u00e0 choisir, voici quelques \u00e9claircissements scientifiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voyons ensemble les bons et les mauvais c\u00f4t\u00e9s du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est une bonne id\u00e9e<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s sont enti\u00e8rement structur\u00e9es autour du travail,\ndans sa forme traditionnelle. En cela, le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est un changement de\nparadigme fort et ses cons\u00e9quences ne concernent pas seulement les entreprises\net leurs employ\u00e9s mais aussi la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dans son ensemble, comme nous allons le\nvoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail augmente la productivit\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e0 l\u2019entreprise, notamment en augmentant la productivit\u00e9 de ses employ\u00e9s. Une \u00e9tude am\u00e9ricaine<sup>1<\/sup> parlait de 10-40% d\u2019augmentation&nbsp;! Ce gain de productivit\u00e9 est particuli\u00e8rement important pour les t\u00e2ches complexes et notamment pour les t\u00e2ches n\u00e9cessitant de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, comme le montre une \u00e9tude autrichienne<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail augmente la flexibilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette am\u00e9lioration de la productivit\u00e9 se fait \u00e9galement de\nmani\u00e8re plus indirecte, en augmentant la flexibilit\u00e9 de l\u2019entreprise et sa\nr\u00e9silience. Premi\u00e8rement, le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail permet des horaires de travail\ndiff\u00e9rents entre les employ\u00e9s. Ceci augmente la plage horaire couverte par\nl\u2019entreprise pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ses clients, particuli\u00e8rement si les employ\u00e9s\ntravaillent dans des fuseaux horaires distincts. Deuxi\u00e8mement, la dispersion\ndes salari\u00e9s rend l\u2019entreprise plus r\u00e9siliente et moins sensible aux\nintemp\u00e9ries (catastrophes naturelles, etc.) et aux impr\u00e9vus (gr\u00e8ves, attentats,\netc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail r\u00e9duit les d\u00e9penses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>De m\u00eame, le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail contribue \u00e0 l\u2019optimisation du\nfonctionnement de l\u2019entreprise. Il r\u00e9duit les co\u00fbts g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par les locaux\n(loyer\/imp\u00f4ts, chauffage, etc.), mais aussi les frais caus\u00e9s par le turnover des\nsalari\u00e9s. En effet, les employ\u00e9es qui d\u00e9m\u00e9nagent peuvent rester dans\nl\u2019entreprise et n\u2019ont pas besoin d\u2019\u00eatre remplac\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail am\u00e9liore la qualit\u00e9 de vie au travail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Concernant les employ\u00e9s, le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail am\u00e9liore leur\nqualit\u00e9 de vie au travail (QVT), selon plusieurs \u00e9tudes. Il am\u00e9liore le moral\net la motivation<sup>3<\/sup>. Il permet un meilleur contr\u00f4le de son travail\nqui, \u00e0 son tour, diminue les intentions de d\u00e9missionner et permet un meilleur\n\u00e9quilibre vie professionnelle\/personnelle<sup>4<\/sup>. D\u2019un point de vue\npurement pratique, les t\u00e9l\u00e9travailleur-se-s \u00e9conomisent aussi du temps, gagn\u00e9\nsur leurs trajets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est \u00e9cologique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est aussi soci\u00e9tal et peut \u00eatre\nint\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 une strat\u00e9gie de responsabilit\u00e9 soci\u00e9tale d\u2019entreprise (RSE). En effet,\nen \u00e9vitant aux travailleurs d\u2019avoir \u00e0 se rendre sur leurs lieux de travail, le\nt\u00e9l\u00e9travail d\u00e9sengorge le trafic urbain et contribue \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de\ngaz \u00e0 effet de serre. Il est donc \u00e9cologique, comme le montre une \u00e9quipe de\nrecherche britannique<sup>5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail facilite l\u2019acc\u00e8s au travail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le essentiel dans\nl\u2019accessibilit\u00e9. Il facilite le retour au travail des jeunes m\u00e8res, comme le\nmontre une \u00e9tude britannique<sup>6<\/sup>. Il am\u00e9liore aussi l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9\npour les personnes en situation de handicap ou pour celles qu\u2019une maladie\nr\u00e9cente a fragilis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est une mauvaise id\u00e9e<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail a de nombreux avantages, mais comporte\n\u00e9galement des inconv\u00e9nients. Les comprendre est un premier pas pour les\ncontrer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail isole les employ\u00e9s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La cons\u00e9quence n\u00e9gative la plus visible du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est\nl\u2019isolement. La baisse des interactions avec nos coll\u00e8gues peut nous enserrer\ndans un sentiment de solitude et nous d\u00e9sengager de notre travail. C\u2019est ce que\nmontre une \u00e9tude n\u00e9erlandaise<sup>7<\/sup>, m\u00eame si ses auteurs ajoutent qu\u2019une\nbonne communication permet de limiter ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail a un impact n\u00e9gatif sur la sant\u00e9 mentale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019autres \u00e9tudes vont dans ce sens en mettant avant\nl\u2019apparition d\u2019\u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives chez les t\u00e9l\u00e9travailleur-se-s, comme la\nsolitude, l\u2019irritabilit\u00e9 ou la culpabilit\u00e9. Ils et elles manifestent \u00e9galement\ndes sympt\u00f4mes propres au stress<sup>8<\/sup>. De m\u00eame, le fait de travailler\nchez soi met \u00e0 mal le besoin de d\u00e9connection entre sa vie professionnelle et sa\nvie personnelle. Cette situation favorise le surmenage et l\u2019\u00e9puisement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail r\u00e9duit la productivit\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, nous vous disions plus haut que le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail\naugmente la productivit\u00e9. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, ce gain est essentiellement valable pour\nles t\u00e2ches complexes. D\u2019une part le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail am\u00e9liore la qualit\u00e9 de vie au\ntravail et d\u2019autre part il porte atteinte \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale. Il favorise la\nproductivit\u00e9 pour certains types de t\u00e2ches et l\u2019inhibe pour d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il en r\u00e9sulte que le r\u00f4le du t\u00e9l\u00e9travail est plus complexe qu\u2019il n\u2019y parait. La pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 la fois d\u2019avantages et d\u2019inconv\u00e9nients met en avant l\u2019importance d\u2019un bon management.
